Corporate support is key to the impact we deliver.

Corporate Partnerships

We work in partnership with a range of corporate supporters. Some choose to make us their charity of the year, set up an in-house volunteering partnership or run office fundraising events in aid of us. Others offer pro-bono support or co-create projects with us. Whatever you choose, we believe that every corporate partnership is unique. As such, supporting us can come in several different forms. You can:

Support us financially

Financial support from our corporate partners takes many forms, ranging from one-off donations, staff fundraising and payroll giving, through to multi-year grants. You can choose to donate to a particular project, or towards the running costs of our Learning Programme overall.

Volunteer with us

Regular volunteer support enables us to deliver 1:1 support to children in session. You can choose to volunteer in person on our Ships, or virtually. Sessions run Monday to Friday 3.45-6.45 pm. We only ask for a six-session commitment to accommodate busy schedules.

One-off volunteering & pro-bono support

You can still make a difference without the regular time commitment! Pirate Fan Mail is designed to give Young Pirates an extra confidence boost by sharing with them a supportive letter of praise from someone who has read and admired their work.

Digital partnerships

We are looking to improve our digital offering as we continue to grow.  Value-aligned organisations can support our work by donating refurbished laptops or digital expertise.

Co-creation

We are always looking for opportunities to co-create with our partners so the experience can be as rewarding and mutually beneficial as possible. From big adventures such as launching a brand-new Ship, to smaller collaborations on Young Pirate holiday workshops, there’s something for everyone.

Does this sound like something for your organisation?

We’d love to hear from you. Start the conversation today by emailing our Corporate Partnerships team: isobel.williams@literacypirates.org or giving our details to your company’s CSR or community representative.
