Our ship in Dalston offers unique rooms for meetings, events and workshops. We have four unique and inspiring spaces available to hire.
Monday – Friday:
9am – 3pm term time (Navigators room 9am to 6pm)
9am – 6pm non-term time
Unfortunately, we are not able to host birthday parties, evening or weekend workshops and events.
Our prices include
- Broadband Wi-Fi internet
- Tea and coffee making facilities
- Flip charts and stationery
- Access to a projector and screen
- Set up of spaces with tables and chairs as needed.
Rental is £35 per hour (£25 for charities) for Ideas Room, Navigators and The Deck.
£70 per hour (£50 for charities) for The Deep.
Minimum rental is two hours. For longer term rentals – please enquire.
The Deep, Navigators, Ideas and Deck are in the Hackney Ship in Dalston. Close to the Kingsland and Dalston Junction Overground stations and buses into the city.

The Deep
Our lower ground floor space is a fantastical environment with an underwater cave structure, atmospheric lighting, and deep-sea themed décor. It is in the basement of our Hackney building and accessible by lift. When the space isn’t filled with our Young Pirates it can be used for a variety of events with a stage, projector and flexible working space.
The space is ideal for company away days, parties, exhibitions and performances for up to 70 guests.
The Navigator’s Office
The Navigator’s Office on the second floor is at the very top of the Hackney ship, overlooking the oceans of Dalston.
Decorated with globes, maps and everything you would need to navigate the seven seas, this is the perfect place to escape to.
The space can seat 20 theatre style, 15 boardroom style, or hold 25 standing. It is perfect for meetings, classes, rehearsals or small events.
The Ideas Room
The Ideas Room on the first floor is a space for imagination and inspiration. It is on the first floor of our Hackney building. Lift accessible.
With one wall entirely used as a blackboard and a projector, this is the place to get ideas flowing.
The space can seat 20 theatre style, 15 boardroom style, or hold 25 standing. It is perfect for meetings, classes, rehearsals or small events.
The Deck
The Deck is the home of our high street entrance that is inside the hull of a ship. It is full of hidden decorative delights for guests to explore.
The space can hold up to 30 guests and is perfect for receptions, book readings, product launches and community events.
